How can we develop resilience?
Resilience helps us to develop an inner strength, be brave and have courage. We can say to ourselves, I am brave, I am strong, I can do this! It is important that we all notice our feelings and ask for help with them when they get too big for us to manage. Resilience helps us to develop an inner strength, be brave and have courage. We develop an ability to ‘bounce back’ from adversity and adapt positively in the face of challenging personal circumstances and difficult situations.
- It can feel scary and difficult when we can’t control our feelings
- Resilience helps us to develop problem solving skills and to communicate when we feel stress
- Recognising our own feelings and the feelings of others is important
