More about this stormbreak

Relationships are the connections we have with the people around us that help us to feel loved, cared for and safe . There are many different types of relationships or connections that we can have; friendships, our family and carers, and our wider family members too. We need to develop relationship skills to help form and sustain meaningful relationships. This stormbreak helps us to think about the different emotions we can have and how our emotions can change throughout the day

  • It is ok to need support from others as this strengthens our relationships
  • Trust is an important part of relationships as this helps us feel safe
  • We can recognise how others are feeling from their body language and facial expressions

Draw a picture of a friend and give it to them. Notice how they respond and how this makes you feel.
